I contacted Wayne New’s Office about getting a park to replace Josephine. I said, that if there wasn’t an Off-leash dog park within walking distance of our home, we wouldn’t have bought it. I also said that if it isn’t replaced, we wouldn’t want to live in Comgress Park. I said that we are therefore also concerned about property values since others may feel the same way. This is what they said:
“Bryan, I am sorry you are frustrated. However, if you have suggestion on a location I do encourage you to work with your RNO to bring it to the attention of both Councilman New and Parks and Rec. It is also important to note that creating a dog park north of Colfax would be in Councilman Brooks’ District 9. If you would like to discuss the creation of a dog park in that District please contact Councilman Brooks’ office at (720) 337-7709. Thank you.”
