BRT – An Article By Dennis Royer
Dennis Royer is a transportation engineer with over 50 years of experience in all aspects of transportation. He was the City Traffic Engineer for 15 years with responsibility for approval of all public right of way improvements also was Deputy Director of Public Works for 7 years where one of his major responsibilities was the coordination with all outside organizations, i.e. RTD, CDOT and DRCOG. He was the city designated representative to the RTD committee for developing light rail. He left Denver to be the Chief of Public Works and Transportation/Public Works Commissioner for the City of Boston where he was also responsible for all coordination with the MBTA. Mr Royer has already made a presentation regarding BRT to the Mayfair Neighborhood. The following article was published in the Greater Park Hill newspaper.
