The Denver Police Department is hosting a free self-defense class for women and girls!* In this class, officers teach the art of self-defense known as Krav Maga – the same system taught to every Denver Police officer while in the police academy. This one-day class will take place Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Carla Madison Recreation Center located at 2401 E Colfax Avenue. Class starts at 9:30 AM and ends at 2:30 PM. Anyone under the age of 18 who wishes to participate in the class must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. *The link to register for this class will be posted to our official Twitter account and our official Facebook account next Friday, January 31, 2020 at 9:35 AM.
