Vicki called the meeting to order at 630p and determined a quorum was present.  Explained that the first 30 minutes of the meeting would be a short business meeting to fulfill the city’s requirement.  Vicki and Maggie explained the ballot process and that we would be voting on the bylaw changes, and ratification of retaining the board.  Ballots will be emailed to all members in good standing.  Vicki introduced the standing board and each explained their roles and duties in the organization.
General Meeting:  Vicki called the general meeting to order at 7pm, and advised that it will be recorded and asked folks to direct questions to chat feature.
Georgia Garnsey, President of City Park Friends and Neighbors RNO, announced the republication of the City Park Book.
Hanna Ruiz gave a report on crime in the neighborhood which has increased according to the statistics.  DPD is in the process of revamping Neighborhood Watch.
Emma Harrison, Johnathan Steward, and Nick Vanderkwaak, representatives of BRT, gave a power point presentation on the latest updates and fielded questions from the neighborhood.
Chaim Bennell, owner of House of Copa, explained his vision for his business and future expansion which will include a beer/wine/cabaret license and enhancements to the parking lot/patio area.
Meeting adjourned at 8:18PM.
On Dec 22 2023 88 ballots were sent out to members in good standing via Survey Monkey.
