This meeting centered around traffic and safety concerns on 12th Ave with an emphasis on the danger near Teller Elementary because of lack of signage and speeding around the school.  A slide show was  presented by Michelle Padilla Teller Elementary PTA and Principal Sabrina Bates.  Representatives from  the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, Ashlee Grace and Hadar Albo, attended and responded to questions as well. Also in attendance was Councilman Chris Hynes and his aide Teresa St. John and Councilwoman Debbie Ortega’s aide, Joe Wood. 32 people were in attendance at this meeting.

According to Deputy Manager Utilities Margaret Medellin “The change was only intended for those residents already placing recycling/compost carts on the street. I have attached a map showing which homes are impacted by this change (blue) as well as the houses that received the notice in error (red).”
