Subject: URGENT NEED: Bilingual (English & Spanish) Volunteers for Pre-Clinic Screenings and Work Authorization Legal Clinics for Immigrant Newcomers

Good afternoon,

Your support in this effort is greatly appreciated and we encourage you to share this information with your friends, family, and community networks. 

 I’m reaching out today with an urgent request and would greatly appreciate your support! We are in need of bilingual volunteers fluent in both English and Spanish to assist with pre-clinic screenings and legal clinics specifically addressing work authorization for immigrant and newcomer arrivals.

  Screenings are being conducted in the migrant shelters and are being used to determine whether individuals are CBP One app parolees who can immediately file for work permits. During the screenings, we determine eligibility, translate vital records, locate their digital I-94 (entry document), provide them with a packet of information to fill out in advance of the clinic, and register them for an appointment at the legal clinics taking place on Feb 15 and 16. The legal clinics will be at the Webb and will be where eligible individuals will complete their application for work permits, and file fee waivers and complete biometrics directly with USCIS.  

Below is the current schedule of pre-clinic screenings and USCIS/CCD Work Authorization legal clinics we have set for the first two weeks of February.
