I’m excited to announce an opportunity to provide feedback on the development of DOTI’s Safe Routes to School 5-Year Action Plan! To learn more about the Safe Routes to School program, action plan, and provide your feedback, visit our self-guided online public event.

The 5-Year Action Plan will prioritize transportation projects that will get students to and from school safely whether they walk, bike, take transit, carpool or drive. The 5-Year Action Plan will outline strategies aimed to improve safety for all students getting to and from school, as well as identify essential partnerships and potential funding opportunities to implement the strategies. The plan will include schools that are public and private throughout City and County of Denver.

We are hoping you can help us spread the word through your communication outlets to make sure we are reaching student’s parents and school communities. Promotional materials, including newsletter content, poster (for schools to print and hang around the school or can be used as a digital invite), social media content, and graphics in both English and Spanish can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/agra8pme6tapiqd/AAAJRKNMLFe5Fpkf-f47T_VGa?dl=0  The event will be available until March 12.
